Ring with Biscione Milano Big Silver. A chevalier ring made of 925 silver with a darkened and shiny finish. This is the BIG version of the Biscione Milano chevalier. Characterized by a rectangular shape, its bezel contains the symbol of Milan par excellence, Il Biscione di Milano or "El Bisson".
What does the Biscione di Milano represent?
It represents the coat of arms of the Visconti family, the first lords of the city during the Middle Ages. The Biscione of Milan is particularly rich in meanings and infinite myths and legends. According to a first legend in 1323, Azzone Visconti, camping with his troops near Pisa, did not realize that a viper had slipped into his helmet. When he placed it on his head, luck smiled on him and the poisonous beast slipped away without biting him. The snake of Milan is synonymous with prestige and power.
